With most of the big tennis tournaments in 2017 finished, the Mubadala World Tennis Championship will offer the last chance for us to watch the top players compete this year. While this tournament is not an official ATP event, there is still a ton of money on the line so I am expecting good performances from all the players. The first match of this tournament is set to be between Spanish superstar Pablo Carreño Busta and Swiss champions Stan Wawrinka.
Pablo Carreño Busta is ranked 10th in the world he will hope that he can turn some heads by winning this tournament. The Spaniard is a very solid player and at the age of only 26, there is a lot of tennis left for the youngstar. This will not be an easy match for Pablo Carreño Busta since he is up against one of the top players in the world but he will know that he is at a level where he should be able to compete.

On the other side of the coin, Stan Wawrinka is one of the most exciting players in the world. The Swiss master has always played good tennis but consistency has been his biggest problem. If Wawrinka can overcome that, he has a good chance to become the best player in the world and he will want to start by showing that against Pablo Carreño Busta.
With all that in mind, I am going to predict that Pablo Carreño Busta will win this match. He is more consistent and with the year almost over, I don’t expect to see a very committed Stan Wawrinka. We are getting a good price on Pablo Carreño Busta to win so that is the bet I am going to suggest.
