Croatian superstar and number 3 seed, Marin Cilic was dominant in his opening round at Wimbledon. Now he will play his second round match on Wednesday as he takes on the Argentine player, Guido Pella. I am expecting a top-level tennis match with two determined tennis players.
Guido Pella won his opening round clash in four sets as he beat Australian Jason Kubler. This will give him tons of confidence heading into this match. Guido Pella has never made it past the second round at a grand slam event and he will feel that this is his chance of making the third round. The Argentine made it to the second round of the French Open and the quarterfinals of ATP Stuttgart so he is in good form. I am sure that he will look to capitalize on this form and challenge one of the best players in the game.

On the other side of the court, Marin Cilic will hope that this is another easy game. The Croatian made the final of this tournament last year and he will be desperate to go further and win this year. The past few months have been good for Marin Cilic as he made a deep run at the French Open and followed that by winning the ATP Queen’s Club Championship. That later was played on grass courts meaning that he is in good form and well prepared for this tournament. With many of the top players like Andy Murray not playing this year, Marin Cilic will see this year as an amazing opportunity to win Wimbledon.
Looking at all the information, I only see one result for this game and that is Marin Cilic winning. The Croatian is on a different level compared to Guido Pella and I think that will be obvious when viewing this match. As far as betting is concerned, we are not getting the best price to wager on Marin Cilic winning so it is best if we avoid that bet. The best bet is the under 3.5 sets which should win easily since I don’t see Guido Pella winning a set from Marin Cilic.
