Andy Murray’s older brother, Jamie Murray will be playing in the doubles at Wimbledon as he pairs up with Bruno Soares from Brazil. The will be taking on Spanish player Albert Ramos Viñolas and Italian player Paolo Lorenzi in the opening round at Wimbledon. Both sets of players have tons to prove so we should be able to watch a great game of tennis.
Albert Ramos Viñolas and Paolo Lorenzi have not been playing together long. This will be the first major tournament that the duo will play together and it will be interesting to see the chemistry and teamwork between the players. Both players are also playing the singles tournament and that is important to note since this is most likely their second priority. Both these players have done well in their tennis careers and have won titles in ATP events for singles. Doubles is a different game and neither have managed to perform well in this format of the game. This might be since neither play found decent partners or their priorities have not been doubles. Either way, it will be a challenge for them as they are playing a well-oiled doubles team.

Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares have been playing doubles together for a long time and although 2018 has not been the best year for the team, they are still considered to be top players. This team has won grand slams before including the US Open and the Australian Open. The pair has never won at Wimbledon and that something that they will want to change. Jamie Murray’s home grand slam is Wimbledon and I am sure that he will be desperate to win this tournament. It is important to note that both players have had strong performances at Wimbledon in mixed doubles meaning that they are good players on the grass courts.
All in all, I am expecting Bruno Soares and Jamie Murray to win this match. They are the better team and the crowd will be behind them since Jamie Murray is from the UK. We are getting a good enough price to wager on this team to win so it is the best betting option.
