Alison Van Uytvanck is coming off a straight sets win over Anett Kontaveit that took 17 games to decide. In the victory, Van Uytvanck won 66 percent of her first serve points and 65 percent of her second serve points. Van Uytvanck won 65 percent of her total service points and converted on five of her 10 break chances. Van Uytvanck has now produced a combined 12 breaks in her last two matches and has had a high number of success with her return overall this tournament. Van Uytvanck has been truly impressive in her last two performances to make her second career grand slam fourth round. Van Uytvanck has a chance to make her second career grand slam quarterfinal and first since the 2015 French Open. Van Uytvanck has won five of her last seven matches on grass court.

This will be the first ever meeting between these two players.

It’s hard to bet against Van Uytvanck in her current from, as she’s returning the ball very well. However, Kasatkina is the more complete player and was playing well coming into this tournament. Given the amount of upsets that have taken place on the women’s side, Kasatkina is a player who can make a run toward the final with the way she’s playing.

Kasatkina should win this match likely in straight sets.
