Wimbledon has reached the quarterfinals stage and this is the time in the tournament where the big players step up and show their class. In the women’s tournament, number 11 seed Angelique Kerber will be taking on number 14 seed, Daria Kasatkina. Both players are very talented and will look to win this match so we should be treated to some high-quality tennis.
Angelique Kerber has been absolutely amazing this year at Wimbledon as the German superstar has shown why she is considered to be one of the best players in the world. The former world number 1 has been dominant, clinical and very fluent in all her matches and she is looking like a genuine contender for the title. The most impressive part about Angelique Kerber’s Wimbledon campaign is that the German has only dropped one set in the entire tournament. This is incredibly impressive and she will hope that she doesn’t have to drop a set in this match either.

On the other side of the court, Daria Kasatkina will look to beat another top seed and progress to the final 4. The Russian has had a relatively easy draw until this match due to many of the big names getting eliminated in the early stages of the tournament. At the age of only 21, Daria Kasatkina is a very promising player but it is important to note that she has never made it this deep at Wimbledon before. Daria Kasatkina has only made one grand slam quarter-final in her career which was one month ago at the French Open. The Russian lost that match. If Daria Kasatkina can handle the pressure of playing on the big stage, she has a chance but otherwise, it will be tough for her to win this match.
All in all, I am going to predict that Angelique Kerber will win this match. While Daria Kasatkina is a great player, the added experience of German will be enough to beat the Russian. We are getting a great price wagering on Angelique Kerber winning so that is the bet which I am going to suggest we make.
