Donald Young vs Kei Nishikori
The Line: -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
Japanese superstar, Kei Nishikori, had a very impressive Wimbledon campaign as he made it to the quarterfinals. The world number 20 was dominant in all his games until he lost to Novak Djokovic in a game where he fought very hard. The Japanese player will now take on American, Donald Young, in the round of 32 at the ATP Washington Open. This is a big tournament for both players so I expect a good game of tennis.
This is the first time that Kei Nishikori will be playing since Wimbledon and I am sure that the Japanese player will look to have a good tournament as he gets ready for the US Open. The past few years have been very frustrating for Kei Nishikori as he has been in good form but has not won a single ATP title. Since February 2016, Kei Nishikori has played 6 ATP finals only to lose all of them. This is something that would be frustrating for the Japanese superstar and I am sure he will be very determined to ensure he can win a title soon. This will be a great chance for Kei Nishikori to make another deep run and I am sure he will look to take the opportunity.

As far as Donald Young is concerned, he will look to use the home crowd to his advantage. The American beat Stan Wawrinka in the round of 64 and he is looking in good form. While beating Wawrinka is a great achievement, Kei Nishikori will be a much harder opponent since the Japanese superstar will not make as many mistakes. Donald Young will need to play at the top of his game if he wishes to challenge the world number 20.
While Donald Young was impressive against Stan Wawrinka, I don’t think he will be good enough to beat Kei Nishikori. The Japanese superstar is the better player and I see him winning easily.
