We have reached the final of the Citi Open in Washington DC with the two best players from the competition fighting it out for the honor of lifting an ATP title. The two players playing the final will be talented Australian youngster, Alex de Minaur, and the world number 3, Alexander Zverev. These two have been the best players all throughout the tournament and they deserve to fight it out for the title. I am expecting a great match since both players have been exceptional.

Alexander Zverev is the top-seeded player for this tournament and has shown that he is the best player since as he has been very dominant in all his wins. The German has lost only one set all tournament and has beaten some of the best players including Japanese superstar, Kei Nishikori. This will be a tough match since it is a final and the pressure will be high.

Susan Mullane-USA TODAY Sports

On the other side of the court, Alex de Minaur is looking to win his first ATP title. The Australian has been very good this tournament. His semifinal win over Andrey Rublev was exceptionally noteworthy as he came from one set down to win. This is a big opportunity for the Australian as he has never made it this far in an ATP event. A win will be massive for the career of Alex de Minaur and he will be determined to do well.

While Alex de Minaur has been exceptional in this tournament, I think that Alexander Zverev will be too tough. The German is one of the best players in the world and it is hard to see Alex de Minaur compete with him. Unfortunately, we are not getting a great price on Alexander Zverev winning so that is a bet I would avoid. The best bet is the under 2.5 sets since I don’t think Alex de Minaur is good enough to win a set.
