Dominic Thiem vs. Filip Krajinovic - 2020 Adria Tour Final
Sunday, June 14 2020
The two best players from the two groups finally meet! Dominic Thiem with his 3-0 record in Group B, meets Filip Krajinovic with his 2-1 record in Group A. This is going to be a very exciting match to watch and it will be full of long rallies. Who is going to take home the title here at the first weekend of the Adria Tour, the Dominator, or will Krajinovic cause another major upset?
Dominic Thiem has been superb here in Belgrade, playing some of his best tennis in weeks. Thiem will want to get revenge for the Australian Open, and with the way he has been playing, he can very much do that. Thiem has improved in his form in the last few days as he has gotten more matches under his belt. Thiem loves playing on clay and he is definitely showing us why he is the most likely to succeed Rafael Nadal as the most dominant player on clay. Dominic will come out and give it his all in this final, and although it is only an exhibition match, he will not give up on any point.
Filip Krajinovic played incredibly well on Saturday and definitely deserves his spot here in the Final against Dominic Thiem. Krajinovic beat the world No.1, Novak Djokovic, in what was an incredible match. Krajinovic was determined to win every point in that match and he was critical on breakpoints. Krajinovic will come out here and want to show us why he is one of the best in the game and I am sure he will provide us with some great entertainment.
This is going to be the first meeting between these two players and it is going to be a very close one. On one hand, we have the world No.3, Dominic Thiem, who can beat anyone on his day. And on the other hand, we have Filip Krajinovic who is just coming off his best win of the year. Krajinovic will want to win it for the Serbian crowd, however the way Thiem has played in the last two days is going to be too good for the Serbian.
Dominic Thiem to win.
