Dustin Brown looks to put on a show as he meets another flamboyant opponent in Richard Gasquet. This is going to be one of the more fun encounters to watch this weekend and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top. Will it be the Frenchman or the German?

Dustin Brown has not really found his form here at the Ultimate Tennis Showdown, suffering some easy defeats. Brown is not the player he used to be and he cannot compete in long matches in tournaments. Therefore, people would have thought that he would thrive in this format as it is all about winning the important points. Brown can provide amazing entertainment with his shotmaking ability, but he will have to drastically improve his playing level if he wants to be one of the last 8 here at the Ultimate Tennis Showdown.

Richard Gasquet is getting back into his best game. Gasquet, who has injury issues throughout the first half of 2019, struggled to find form in early 2020, however, due to the break, he has been able to get himself back at 100% and back to playing his best. When Gasquet is playing his best tennis, it is hard to stop him. Gasquet has one of the best one-handed backhands in the game and it is a thing of beauty. Gasquet put on a solid performance against David Goffin and also against Stefanos Tsitsipas, although he eventually lost that match. Gasquet will look to put in some more solid performances this weekend.

This is going to be the second meeting between both players, with Richard Gasquet having won their only prior encounter. Gasquet beat Dustin Brown in 2016 in Marseille in 3 sets. Both Gasquet and Brown were better players at the time, however, Brown's level has decreased significantly since then. Brown can win fun points and put on a show, but Gasquet is looking for a redemption season after suffering a lot from injury problems. I expect Gasquet to make easy work of this match and ensure he wins it 3-1 without any problems.

Richard Gasquet to win.
