The Final of the 2021 Great Ocean Road Open is here! Stefano Travaglia meets Jannik Sinner in what is definitely going to be an exhilarating final. It is a battle of Italians, but will it be the more experienced and veteran Stefano Travaglia to get the job done, or will it be the up and coming prodigy in Jannik Sinner?

Stefano Travaglia has been causing upsets left, right, and centre in this tournament and he definitely deserves to be in this final. Travaglia has beaten the likes of Miomir Kecmanovic, Hubert Hurkacz, and Alexander Bublik along the way, all of which as very much better than him on their day. However, Travaglia has showed that he is determined to make a name for himself on the ATP Tour. Travaglia is now going to face the toughest challenge of them all here, Jannik Sinner. Will Travaglia be able to beat his fellow Italian, or will Sinner be too much for him?

Jannik Sinner is just incredible in my opinion. This kid is the future of tennis, a future Grand Slam Champion, and a future world No.1. Sinner has so much natural talent, and he puts in a lot of hard work, which allows him to be able to put on incredible performances at such a young age, whilst also staying humble and knowing he still needs to improve. Sinner has already won 2 titles in his very short and young career, and he will be very motivated to make it 3 here.

This is going to be the first meeting between both players, and it is going to be a very interesting one. On one hand, we have Stefano Travaglia who has more experience than Sinner years wise in the tennis world, but when you really look into it, Sinner is actually the one with more experience. Despite being 19 years old, Sinner has played more matches than his fellow Italian on the ATP Tour in only 3 years, compared to Travaglia who has been playing on the tour for 13. Travaglia has had a great run here, and showed us some amazing moments, but this is Jannik Sinners' time, and he will get his 3rd title on Sunday.
