Alexander Zverev vs. Filip Krajinovic – 6/13/20 Adria Tour Tennis Picks, Odds, and Predictions

Alexander Zverev meets Filip Krajinovic in their first match on the first day of the first weekend at the 2020 Adria Tour. Zverev has been working extremely hard over the coronavirus break, will this show or will we see more of the Zverev of early 2020?

Alexander Zverev has been struggling for the last year or so as he has not been able to find consistency in his serve. Zverev was one of the most exciting young prospects a couple years ago, but he has not lived up to the hype in the last year. Zverev has all the potential in the world, he is tall, strong, has beaten the best players in the world, he just needs to find consistency. Zverev has been working extremely hard over the break and I am sure he is going to be on top of his game here at the Adria Tour.

Filip Krajinovic has been very good in the first few months of 2020. Krajinovic played incredibly well in Rotterdam and in Marseille before the tour was postponed and showed us he is at his peak. Krajinovic is a fighter and he will not give up on a point. Krajinovic will come out here and play like he has nothing to lose because he doesn’t have anything to lose. If taken too lightly, he can hurt you.

This will be the second meeting between both players, with Zverev having won their prior encounter last year in Hamburg. Zverev won that match coming back from a set down. Zverev is the better player, and if he is consistent, he will make easy work of this. However, this being his first match back, I’m taking Zverev to win in general.

Alexander Zverev to win.
