Paris Masters: Alex de Minaur vs. Stefano Travaglia 11/02/20 Tennis Prediction

2020 Antwerp Open Finalist, Alex de Minaur, looks to bounce back after a tough final loss here at the 2020 Paris Masters as he meets Stefano Travaglia on Monday, November 2nd 2020. Will Travaglia be able to cause any threat to the Australian, or will de Minaur cruise?
Stefano Travaglia is more of a clay courter and he has not had much success on indoor hard courts, however, this does not mean he will not come out here willing to give it his all. Travaglia will be looking at this tournament as more of a free chance of going further into a tournament as he has nothing to lose. Travaglia has done this before, at the 2019 Wimbledon, where he beat Stefanos Tsitsipas in the first round. Travaglia has the experience and has the big wins under his belt to even have a slight chance to cause an upset here, and he will be hoping de Minaur takes him lightly.
Alex de Minaur was superb at the 2020 Antwerp Open until the Final where he was completely outplayed by Ugo Humbert who won his second title of the season. Alex is an incredible player who will make it high up the rankings in the next couple of years, and I am sure he wants to improve his game here in Paris and bounce back after that tough loss. De Minaur has a very expansive game and he moves around the court with great speed and precision. I expect de Minaur to be extremely motivated here.
This is going to be the first meeting between both players and in my opinion this is going to be a straight forward victory for the young Australian Alex de Minaur. De Minaur is the much better player, especially on this surface, and has played very well over the last few weeks. De Minaur will come out here motivated and determined to book his spot in the second round and I am sure he will not let his foot off the gas at all throughout the match. I expect this to be a straight sets victory.
