Sacramento Kings vs Oklahoma City Thunder Prediction 12-14-23 NBA Picks

The Sacramento Kings play host to the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Golden 1 Center on Thursday night. Here’s a Kings vs Thunder prediction.

Oklahoma City Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder have been on a nice run as they’ve won four of their last five games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after blowing past the Jazz in a 134-120 home win on Monday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the team with 30 points and seven assists, Ousmane Dieng added 18 points off the bench, Chet Holmgren scored 16 points while Josh Giddey tallied 12 points with 10 rebounds and eight assists. As a team, the Thunder shot 52 percent from the field and 18 of 38 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the shorthanded Jazz from the start, taking an early double-digit lead, before they exploded for 45 points in the third quarter to lead by as many as 38 points before they rested their starter early.

Sacramento Kings

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in decent shape as they’ve won five of their last eight games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after getting thrashed by the Clippers in a 119-99 road loss on Tuesday. Keegan Murray led the team with 17 points, Domantas Sabonis tallied 15 points with 10 rebounds and three assists while De’Aaron Fox chipped in with 14 points. As a team, the Kings shot 41 percent from the field and 10 of 37 from the 3-point line, but the writing was on the wall early in this one as they were always fighting an uphill battle after falling behind by 70-48 going into halftime. Kevin Huerter had a night to forget as he scored just three points on one of eight shooting.

Kings vs Thunder prediction

The Thunder have quietly been one of the hottest teams in the league and they could’ve beaten the Jazz by 50 points on Monday if they didn’t rest their starters early. Meanwhile, the Kings have cooled off a bit lately and they had their confidence dented by the Clippers in a big loss on Tuesday. The Kings took a 105-98 win over the Thunder back on Nov 10, but the Thunder have been the team in better form recently and I think they will be good enough to get the win on the road.
