The Atlanta Dream and Las Vegas Aces meet Friday in WNBA action at the Mandalay Bay Event Center.

The Atlanta Dream look for a nice road victory here to get a game above a .500 record. Las Vegas Aces vs. Atlanta Dream - 6/8/18 WNBA Pick, Odds, and Prediction

Jesse Johnson-USA TODAY Sports

The Las Vegas Aces need a feel good victory here to rebound from their poor 1-5 record. The Las Vegas Aces are averaging 80.3 points on 42.4 percent shooting and allowing 91.7 points on 45.7 percent shooting. A'ja Wilson is averaging 21 points and 7.7 rebounds while Kayla McBride is averaging 14.3 points and 2.8 assists. Nia Coffey is the third double-digit scorer and Tamera Young is grabbing 4.3 rebounds. The Las Vegas Aces are shooting 27.6 percent from beyond the arc and 73.9 percent from the free throw line. The Las Vegas Aces are allowing 41.1 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 34.2 rebounds per game. The Las Vegas Aces have split their last two home games.

The Dream are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 Friday games, 2-7 ATS in their last 9 road games and 5-14 ATS in their last 19 games overall. The Aces are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Friday games, 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS loss and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 home games The Dream are 1-7 ATS in the last 8 meetings in Las Vegas, 3-14 ATS in the last 17 meetings and the under is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings.

I'm not high on the Atlanta Dream, as this club struggles big time offensively and often only gets consistent play out of Hayes and McCoughtry. However, I'm not betting on the Las Vegas Aces, a club that doesn't play a lick of defense and has been blown out way to often this season. Instead, I'll take the over in this game. Teams are lighting up Las Vegas, and while the Aces don't shoot well from the field, they are still averaging 80 points per game. There will be enough points in this cotnest for the total to jump over.
