The Minnesota Lynx also need a bounce back win here after losing four of their last six games. The Minnesota Lynx are averaging 78.7 points on 44.4 percent shooting and allowing 77.3 points on 44 percent shooting. Maya Moore is averaging 18 points and 2.6 assists while Sylvia Fowles is averaging 16.7 points and 11.9 rebounds. Seimone Augustus is the third double-digit scorer and Rebekkah Brunson is grabbing 7.3 rebounds. The Minnesota Lynx are shooting 34.8 percent from beyond the arc and 79.2 percent from the free throw line. The Minnesota Lynx are allowing 32 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 35.9 rebounds per game. The Minnesota Lynx have lost three of their last four home games.
The Fever are 4-10-1 ATS in their last 15 games playing on 2 days rest, 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. Western Conference and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Lynx are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games, 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. Eastern Conference and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games playing on 2 days rest. The under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Minnesota and 8-2 in the last 10 meetings.
I'm going to update this article with a pick even though there's no line released yet, as the game is so early, waiting doesn't make much sense. Rebekkah Brunson being questionable does obviously hurt the Lynx, a team that's already been in full struggle mode the last couple of weeks and hasn't played well this season overall. However, the Fever are being outscored by 16 points in their last five games, getting nothing going offensively or defensively. The Fever are also 2-7 ATS in their last nine games when an underdog of at least eight points, the area in which this line is likely going to be. The Lynx have been even worse as big favorites, but you have to have more confidence in this club at home than an Indiana side that gets beat like a drum daily. I'll take the Minnesota Lynx as long as the line isn't too crazy.
Update: I'm not laying this massive chalk with a banged up Lynx team that's not playing to its potential. This line is much higher than expected.
