The Dallas Wings and Seattle Storm face off on Saturday in a WNBA showdown at the College Park Center.

The Dallas Wings have played one game so far this year against the Los Angeles Sparks and it was a game they were able to win 94-71. That game came last Friday, and that is a bit of a layoff before playing this game. At the end of the first quarter, the Wins were losing by seven points, but as the game went on, the Wings really pulled away with their offense and that led to the blowout victory. Allisha Gray was the star for the Wins finishing with 23 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. Arike Ogunbowale also had a big game putting up 17 points, one rebound, and one assist. In this game for the Wings, it’s going to be about the offense being strong again.

On the other side of this matchup is the Seattle Storm who have played three games so far this year and they have won two of the games. In the last game against the Minnesota Lynx, the Storm struggled most of the game before outsourcing the Lynx 37-15 in the 4th quarter and that led to the 90-78 victory. The Storm are a team that pushes the pace, but their defense has been a big issue at times. On the season the Storm are averaging 89 points per game while their defense is giving up 75.7 points per game. Breanna Stewart has been the best player so far this year for the Storm averaging 22.3 points while shooting 44.4 percent from the field. Jewell Lloyd has also had a big season averaging 20.7 points while shooting 47.9 percent from the field.

The Storm can score but they don’t play any defense and there is going to be plenty of scoring in this game. Look for both teams to run up teh score and for this game to go well over the posted total. Back the over.
