The Dallas Wings and Minnesota Lynx face off on Saturday in a WNBA basketball showdown at the College Park Center. These two teams faced off on Thursday and it was the Lynx that were able to win 85-73.

The Lynx were led by Kayla McBride who finished with 22 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Arike Ogunbowale led Dallas putting up 20 points.

The Dallas Wings currently sit with a 5-7 record overall, which puts them in 5th place in the Western Conference standings. Coming into this game the Dallas Wings have lost two games in a row and the defense has been a big issue each of the last two games. The Wings are currently averaging 84.5 points per game while their defense is giving up 83.3 points per game. Arike Ogunbowale has been the best player for Dallas, averaging 20.8 points while shooting 38.9 percent from the field and 35.3 percent from deep.

On the other side of this matchup is the Minnesota Lynx who sit with a 5-6 record overall which puts them in 4th place in the Western Conference. The Lynx have been inconsistent this season, but they have to feel good about winning their first game on the road. The biggest issue for the Lynx has been with their defense being inconsistent. Napheesa Collier has been the best player for the Minnesota Lynx averaging 17.8 points while shooting 46 percent from the field. Sylvia Fowles has also been a centerpiece averaging 16.3 points while shooting 64 percent from the field.

I think the Lynx defense is going to be an issue in this game, and both offenses are going to run up the score. Look for plenty of scoring by both teams and the over to cash.
