The Connecticut Sun and Las Vegas Aces face off on Tuesday in a WNBA basketball showdown at the Mohegan Sun Arena. The winner of this game will have the best record in the WNBA.

The Connecticut Sun have found all kinds of success this season and coming into this game they sit with a 17-6 record overall which puts them in 1st place in the Eastern Conference. The Sun are playing some really good basketball coming into this game having won three games in a row. In the last game against the Minnesota Lynx, the Sun’s offense was strong scoring 82 points and that led to the victory. The Sun on the season are averaging 79.2 points per game while their defense is giving up 71.9 points per game. Jonquel Jones has been the best player for the Sun averaging 20.6 points while shooting 53.8 percent from the field and 40.7 percent from behind the three-point line.

On the other side of this matchup is the Las Vegas Aces who sit with a 17-6 record overall which puts them in 1st place in the Western Conference. The Las Vegas Aces offense has been good this season and in the last game against the Washington Mystics it was strong again putting up 93 points in the victory. On the season the Las Vegas Aces are averaging 90.5 points per game while their defense is giving up 81 points per game. This is a team that wants to push type ace and this game is going to be about the offense being strong again. A’ja Wilson has been the best player for the Aces averaging 19.4 points while shooting 45.7 percent from the field.

The Aces are going to push the pace in this game and that is going to lead to plenty of scoring in this game. Look for Las Vegas to cover the spread and the over is going to cash. I like both of these plays.
