The Dallas Wings and Atlanta Dream face off on Thursday in a WNBA basketball showdown.at the College Park Center. At the end of May it was the Dream that were able to beat the Wings 101-95

The Dallas Wings come into this game with an 11-15 record overall which puts them in 4th place in the Western Conference. Dallas has been inconsistent as of late, and in their last game against the Mystics they lost by a point. Dallas was outscored 28-22 in the 4th quarter and that led to the defeat. The Wings on the season are averaging 83.3 points per game while their defense is giving up 82.6 points per game. Arike Ogunbowale has been the best player for Dallas averaging 19.1 points while shooting 39.4 percent from the field and 37.8 percent from behind the three-point line.

On the other side of this matchup is the Atlanta Dream who sit with a 6-19 record overall and they have lost ten games in a row. In the last game against the Las Vegas Aces, the Dream were defeated 78-71. On the season the Atlanta Dream are averaging 80.6 points per game while their defense is giving up 86.7 points per game. Courtney Williams has been the best player for Atlanta averaging 15.9 points per game while shooting 40.6 percent from the field and 38.1 percent from behind the three point line. Three different players for the Dream are averaging at least 14.2 points per game.

The Dream have lost ten games in a row and I don’t expect they are going to have much success in this game. The Wings will find offensive success in this game, and Dallas will come away with a cover of the spread.
