The Seattle Storm and Washington Mystics face off on Tuesday in a WNBA basketball showdown at the Angel of the Winds Arena. . These two teams last faced off on August 22nd, and the Storm were able to win 85-78. 

The Washington Mystics have had some issues this season and they currently sit with a 10-17 record overall which puts them in fourth place in the Eastern Conference. The Washington Mystics are struggling coming into this game having lost two games in a row. In the last game against the Lynx the defense was awful giving up 93 points and that led to the 18 point defeat. Tina Charles is back after missing some time with injuries, but in the last game she wasn’t super productive scoring only 12 points. On the other side of this matchup is the Seattle Storm who sit with a 19-10 record overall which puts them in third place in the Western Conference. The Storm are coming off a win in their last game against New York Liberty, but before that they had lost two games in a row against the Chicago Sky. Two games ago, Seattle gave up 107 points, and their defense has let them down big time this season. Seattle on the season is averaging 84.9 points per game while their defense is giving up 80.5 points per game. Breanna Stewart has been the best player for the Storm and one of the best players in the league. Stewart is currently averaging 20.7 points while shooting 43.7 percent from the field and 32.6 percent from behind the three point line. 

Washington has struggled as of late, and the Seattle Storm are going to attack that with their strong offense. The Mystics aren’t going to have the offense to keep this game close, and the Storm will win by double digits. Back the Storm to win this game and cover the spread.
