The Chicago Sky and Phoenix Mercury face off on Sunday in Game 4 of the WNBA Finals at Wintrust Arena. The Sky currently has a 2-1 series lead, but probably feel like they should be up 3-0.

The Sky opened up the finals with a 91-77 victory. In Game 2 it was Phoenix that made a late comeback winning 91-86 in overtime. In Game 3 it was Chicago who had their most dominant win of the Finals winning 86-50. The defense was quite impressive, giving up no more than 14 points in a quarter. Kahleah Copper had another big game scoring 22 points in 24 minutes. Candace Parker also had 13 points, four rebounds, and three assists in 24 minutes. Brittney Griner was the best player for Phoenix finishing with 16 points, two rebounds, and one assist. If Phoenix wants to win this game they are going to need more production out of the offense or there will be some major problems.

The Sky like to play a faster pace of game and are currently averaging 83.3 points per game while their defense is giving up 81.9 points per game. The best player for Chicago all season has been Kahleah Copper and she is averaging 14.4 points while shooting 45.9 percent and 30.6 percent from behind the three-point line. Five players are averaging at least ten points per game.

On the other side of this matchup is the Mercury who are averaging 82.1 points per game while the defense is giving 79.5 points per game. Brittney Griner is the best player for Phoenix averaging 20.5 points while shooting 57.5 percent from the field. Three different players are averaging over 15 points per game.

The Sky are the more balanced team, and I expect they are going to lock down the offense of Phoenix again in this game. Look for Chicago to run up the score and Phoenix is going to have no answer. Back Chicago to win this game and cover the spread.
