The Las Vegas Aces and Atlanta Dream face off on Tuesday in a WNBA showdown at Michelob ULTRA Arena. When these two teams faced off on July 19th it was Dream that secured the 92-76 victory.

The Dream come into this game with a 14-19 record overall, but they are coming off another disappointing loss on Sunday. The offense could only manage 71 points against the Minnesota Lynx, and that led to a 10 point defeat. Two games ago, against the Los Angeles Sparks, they won 88-86. The Dream are averaging 78.5 points, while their defense is giving up 80.9 points per game. The offense is ranked 11th in the league, while their defense is ranked 5th in the league. Tiffany Hayes has been the top player for the Dream, averaging 16.2 points while shooting 54.5 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from behind the three-point line.

On the other side of this matchup is the Aces, who sit with a 23-10 record overall, and they are coming off another big win on Sunday. The offense scored 89 points against a very good Storm defense, and that was enough for an eight-point victory. The Aces are averaging 89.8 points, while their defense is giving up 83.7 points per game. The offense is ranked 1st in the league, while their defense is ranked 8th in the league. The Aces want to push the pace, but at times the defense has been an issue. Kelsey Plum is having a big season, averaging 20 points while shooting 45.4 percent from the field and 41.8 percent from behind the three-point line.

The Aces want to push the pace, and I really don’t trust this Dream defense to do a lot in this game to slow them down. The Aces scored 89 points on Sunday, and they will score at least that here. The Dream are going to have issues getting even 75 points, and the Aces will win in blowout fashion. Back the Aces against the spread.
