Fever vs Wings Prediction 5-9-26 WNBA Picks

The Dallas Wings and Indiana Fever meet Saturday in WNBA action at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Here’s a Fever vs. Wings Prediction. This article will include a Fever vs. Wings Pick.

Dallas Wings Betting Preview

The Wings begin the Jose Fernandez era and hope to make the playoffs for the first time since 2023. The Wings have won a combined 19 games in the last two seasons.

The Wings haven’t accomplished much on paper the last two seasons, but they’re a contender on paper with elite guard play led by Paige Bueckers, Arike Ogunbowale, and Azzi Fudd. While there’s one basketball, if those three can learn to play together, the Wings will be fun and explosive. The addition of Jessica Shepard was an underrated move and Li Yueru found herself after coming over from Seattle. This should easily be the Wings’ best season since their last playoff berth.

Indiana Fever Betting Preview

The Fever have made the playoffs in back-to-back seasons and hope this year they can lift the trophy. The Fever will be in the mix this season.

Last season the Fever made the semifinals and that was with Caitlin Clark missing the majority of the season. Well, she’s back after playing in every preseason game. Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell are coming off monster seasons and Sophie Cunningham looked good in her first season in Indiana. Also, drafting Raven Johnson should be a home run, as she brings toughness and attitude to the court. She’ll fit right in. There’s a lot to like about the Fever this season.

Fever vs Wings Prediction

Fun season opener with a lot of hype and you can talk yourself into the points. However, I’m not getting cute here. The Fever are at home and at full strength. Outside of the Aces and Liberty, the Fever are probably in that third slot for legit title contention. The Wings are attractive, but there are still questions, especially on the defensive side. Fudd also went through growing pains in the preseason. This building is going to be rocking and there are far fewer question marks. I’ll lay the points with the Fever.
