The Liberty raised their ceiling with the additions of 2018 MVP in Breanna Stewart and a 4-time all star in Courtney Vandesloot. The Liberty went from a team on the rise to a team that has serious expectations and is probably in the best shape to give the Las Vegas Aces a run for their money. The Washington Mystics may the dark horse to keep an eye on this season, as much of their 2019 title team is back. Elena Delle Donne has said she’s had a terrific offseason, and her back issues are a thing of the past. The Mystics return their top-5 scorers from last season and even get Kristi Toliver back, a player who was on that championship team. The addition of the DOPY Brittney Sykes raises the ceiling of this Mystics team and could give them the best defense in the league this season. Again, the Mystics are a club that could surprise some folks as they look to reignite the magic from a few years ago.

The New York Liberty is probably going to be favored for obvious reasons, as they're the most hyped up team heading into the season. However, I'm fairly high on the Mystics if you didn't get that from my write-up, as this team can hang with any in the league assuming Delle Donne can return to her old self. Assuming we're going to get free points with the Mystics, I'm going to take them.
