The Dallas Wings and Phoenix Mercury meet Sunday in WNBA action at the IMG Academy.

The Dallas Wings need a win after losing six of their last seven games. The Dallas Wings are averaging 77.6 points on 40.3 percent shooting and allowing 82.9 points on 44.8 percent shooting. Arike Ogunbowale is averaging 20.4 points and 2.7 assists while Satou Sabally is averaging 11.2 points and seven rebounds. Allisha Gray is the third double-digit scorer and Tyasha Harris is dishing three assists. The Dallas Wings are shooting 30.3 percent from beyond the arc and 75.8 percent from the free throw line. The Dallas Wings are allowing 33 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 33.5 rebounds per game.

The Phoenix Mercury look to stay hot after winning six of their last eight games. The Phoenix Mercury are averaging 87.7 points on 46.4 percent shooting and allowing 84.9 points on 44.1 percent shooting. Bria Hartley is averaging 17.1 points and 3.3 rebounds while Brittney Griner is averaging 17 points and 7.7 rebounds. Diana Taurasi is the third double-digit scorer and Skylar Diggins-Smith is dishing 4.3 assists. The Phoenix Mercury are shooting 36 percent from beyond the arc and 78.9 percent from the free throw line. The Phoenix Mercury are allowing 34.3 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 32.5 rebounds per game.

Will update with trends once they’re released.

The Phoenix Mercury already beat the Wings by 12 points in the bubble, a game in which they outscored them in three of the four quarters, shot 45 percent from the field and held Dallas to 38 percent shooting. The Dallas Wings can’t get anything going on the offensive end and are coming off a game where they scored just 65 points against the Seattle Storm. The Wings are currently 11th in the league in points per game, field goal percentage, three point percentage and free throw percentage. Basically, the Wings can’t score from anywhere on the floor and it makes them a tough team to back. The Mercury may also get Taurasi back for this contest.

I’ll take the Mercury and whatever the line ends up being.
