Creighton vs San Diego State Prediction 11-26-24 College Basketball Picks

The San Diego State Aztecs and the Creighton Bluejays meet Tuesday in college basketball action from MGM Arena. Here’s a Creighton vs San Diego State prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Creighton vs San Diego State pick.

San Diego State Aztecs Betting Preview

The Aztecs’ season has been pretty quiet so far; they’ve only got three games in the books. San Diego State opened up with a pair of wins though, taking out UC San Diego 63-58 and Occidental 100-49 in those two.

Game three was the Aztecs’ first loss of the season. Back on November 18 versus Gonzaga, San Diego State came out of the break with a 40-31 deficit. The Aztecs eventually lost 80-67. Nicholas Boyd led the team with 23 points and nine rebounds. San Diego State will play against Oregon following this game.

Creighton Bluejays Betting Preview

Over on the Bluejays’ side, they’ve got five games in the bag this year. Creighton opened up the season with four straight victories, beating UTRGV, Fairleigh Dickinson, Houston Christian, and Kansas City in succession.

The Bluejays took an upset loss in their latest outing versus Nebraska. Creighton was down by 11 points going into the second half and limped to a 74-63 result. Richard Isaacs was the team leader with 25 points with seven boards. Creighton will meet Texas A&M and Kansas after this one.

Creighton vs San Diego State Prediction

I’ll lean toward Creighton. They’re going to need a nice bounce-back effort here, though. The Bluejays got the proverbial wind knocked out of their sails on Friday, posting a rough 32.7 percent shooting with 17 turnovers versus Nebraska. Creighton couldn’t find a scoring groove and finished with just 63 points. The Jays had 78 or more in four straight prior to that.

As for San Diego State, they shot a tepid 37.7 percent from the field against Gonzaga and got out-rebounded 39-33. The Aztecs have been off the court for over a week at this point, so they likely won’t be very sharp coming out of the gate. Provided Creighton can get their bearings back quickly I like the Bluejays to reassert themselves on Tuesday.
