The Wave added 169.6 yards per game, 4.3 yards per carry and 13 more scores on the ground.
Tulane took on Florida Atlantic back on Saturday. In that game the Wave held the Owls scoreless until the fourth quarter in a pretty routine 24-8 win. Michael Pratt led the way on 252 pass yards and three touchdowns. Chris Brazzell caught seven balls for 103 yards and a TD, while Makhi Hughes put up 72 rush yards on 21 carries.

ANDREW’S FREE PICK
I’ll probably lean toward Tulane in this one. You could make a good case either way, though. The Wave didn’t have too many issues versus FAU, posting a nice defensive effort on 234 yards allowed (202 passing), 14 first downs and 3-of-14 on the Owls’ third-down tries. Tulane wasn’t great on third downs themselves though (3-of-11), and had just 84 rush yards.
As for UTSA, they gained a whopping 643 yards (419 passing) against South Florida alongside 7.2 yards per play and 32 first downs. The Roadrunners have scored 34 or more points in seven straight games, so Tulane has their work cut out for them on defense. I think the Wave will pull through, but it’ll be an interesting matchup.
