Dallas Mavericks vs Golden State Warriors Prediction 4-5-24 Picks

The Golden State Warriors and Dallas Mavericks meet Friday in NBA action at the American Airlines Center. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Warriors vs Mavericks prediction.

Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors have caught fire as they are now gunning for a seventh straight victory after blowing past the in-form Rockets in a 133-110 road win last night. Klay Thompson drained seven 3-pointers to finish with 29 points on 11 of 15 shooting, Stephen Curry added 29 points with six assists while Trayce Jackson-Davis chipped in with 20 points, five rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Warriors shot a healthy 58 percent from the field and 17 of 35 from the 3-point line as they got hot right away and were always in control after dominating the first half by 65-50 and things only got better for them in the second half where the bench starters to step up.

Dallas Mavericks

Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks have been in great form as they’ve won 12 of their last 14 games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after routing the Hawks in a 109-95 home win last night. Kyrie Irving led the team with 26 points on 10 of 21 shooting, Luka Doncic added 25 points with 12 rebounds and eight assists while PJ Washington chipped in with 19 points, eight rebounds and three assists. As a team, the Mavericks shot 40 percent from the field and 18 of 49 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 40 points in the second quarter to take full control of the contest, before they played great defense to restrict the Hawks to just 14 points in the fourth quarter to make it a complete blowout win in the end. The Mavs will take on the Rockets and Hornets after this one.

Warriors vs Mavericks prediction

The Warriors are still without Jonathan Kuminga with Andrew Wiggins listed as day to day, while the Mavericks are still missing Dereck Lively and Josh Green. Both teams are coming into this one with plenty of winning momentum, but the edge goes to the Mavericks who have barely missed a step over the last three weeks. You can make an argument for either side here, but the line is short enough for me to stick with the healthier Mavericks squad to stay hot with another win at home.
