DeMar DeRozan led the team with 29 points and seven assists, Coby White added 25 points and six assists while Nikola Vucevic chipped in with 23 points and 12 rebounds. As a team, the Bulls shot 50 percent from the field and 17 of 39 from the 3-point line as they found themselves deadlocked with the Jazz late in the game, before DeRozan saved the day with a pair of clutch free throws with just 9.1 seconds left on the clock. The Bulls will meet the Clippers and Mavericks after this one.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have been in red-hot form as they’ve won 12 of their last 15 games overall and they will be eager to stay hot after blowing past the shorthanded Bucks in a 125-90 home win last night. Stephen Curry led the team with 29 points, eight rebounds and five assists, Jonathan Kuminga added 20 points while Trayce Jackson-Davis chipped in with 15 points, six rebounds and four blocks off the bench. As a team, the Warriors shot 56 percent from the field and 19 of 39 from the 3-point line as they came out swinging and poured in 40 points in the first quarter to take the early lead, but they didn’t have the game locked up until the fourth quarter where they dominated the Bucks by an incredible 32-9 to make it a complete blowout at home. The Warriors will face the Spurs in a back-to-back set after this game.

The Bulls are coming into this meeting with plenty of momentum and they looked great in last night’s win over the Jazz, but it’s going to be tough to replicate that effort against the surging Warriors who were able to rest some starters early in their dominant win over the Bucks. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bulls pulled off the upset here, but the Warriors are one of the hottest teams in the league and I think they keep it going in this spot.
