As a team, the Hornets shot 53 percent from the field and 13 of 30 from the 3-point line which are good enough numbers to compete with most teams, but they let themselves down on defense as they leaked 36 points in the second quarter and another 38 points in the fourth quarter.

Jalen Brunson led the team with 35 points and eight assists on 15 of 25 shooting, Julius Randle added 28 points while Immanuel Quickley chipped in with 18 points off the bench, but no other player finished in double figures in scoring. As a team, the Knicks shot 45 percent from the field and 12 of 29 from the 3-point line as they clawed their way back from a 15-point deficit, only to fall victim to a game-winner from the Suns’ Devin Booker with just 1.1 seconds left on the clock.

The line is quite hefty here, but I think the Knicks bounce back with a much-needed win at home.
