The Golden State Warriors travel to the Golden 1 Center to take on the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night. Here’s a Warriors vs Kings prediction.

Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors have been in rough shape as they’ve lost seven of their last nine games overall, but they will be eager to build some momentum after sneaking past the Spurs in a 118-112 win on Friday. Stephen Curry drained seven 3-pointers to lead the team with 35 points and six assists, Dario Saric added 20 points with seven rebounds and four assists while Klay Thompson chipped in with 15 points and six assists. As a team, the Warriors shot 49 percent from the field and 19 of 42 from the 3-point line as they traded with the Spurs in an unexpectedly close contest before they were finally able to pull away in the fourth quarter.

Golden State Warriors Team Facts

  • The Warriors have lost each of their last 11 Tuesday road games.
  • The Warriors have failed to cover the spread in each of their last eight games as road underdogs following a home win.
  • Each of the Warriors’ last five road games against opponents who are on the first leg of a back-to-back have gone OVER the total points line.

Sacramento Kings

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in great shape as they’ve won seven of their last nine games overall and they will be looking to stay hot after routing the Timberwolves in a 124-111 road win on Friday. De’Aaron Fox led the team with 36 points and 12 assists on 14 of 32 shooting, Harrison Barnes added 18 points, Malik Monk scored 17 points off the bench while Domantas Sabonis tallied 15 points with 11 rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Kings shot 49 percent from the field and 17 of 35 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 38 points in the first quarter to take the early lead, before they restricted the Timberwolves to just 15 points in the third quarter to push the margin out to 22 points.

Sacramento Kings Team Facts

  • The underdogs have won seven of the Kings’ last eight games.
  • The Kings have failed to cover the spread in each of their last nine games as home favorites against Western Conference opponents following a win.
  • Each of the last four games between the Warriors and Kings have gone UNDER the total points line.

Peter’s Pick

The Warriors have been well below their best lately, but they’re coming into this one with a full roster and they were able to get a much-needed win in their last outing. The Kings are the deserved favorites at home in this one as they’ve been one of the form teams in the league, but it’s the Warriors who have won the first two meetings of the season. This should be a close one, but I’m leaning towards the Kings to get their revenge at home in this spot.

Joe Hall's Free Pick: Sacramento -3.5
