Titans vs Seahawks Prediction 8/23/26 NFL Picks Today

In this article we will formulate a Titans vs Seahawks prediction for this NFL game on Sunday, August 23rd at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this preseason matchup.

Tennessee Titans Betting Preview

The Tennessee Titans are 1-0 this preseason after they defeated the 49ers by a score of 19-13 last week. Tennessee led 13-7 at halftime and they did just enough in the second half to hang on for the win. The Titans were out gained by a total of 322-279, went 4-12 on third downs, and tied the turnover battle at zero in the game. Cam Ward threw for 57 yards, Will Levis threw for 42 yards, and Mitchell Trubisky threw for 23 yards. Julius Chestnut rushed five times for 47 yards, while Wan’Dale Robinson caught two passes for 19 yards in the win.

Last year, Tennessee went 2-1 in the preseason, which was tied for first in the AFC South with the Texans. The Titans lost to the Buccaneers by a score of 29-7, defeated the Falcons 23-20, and defeated the Vikings 23-13 in their three preseason games. The Titans will start Cam Ward at the quarterback spot in the first quarter, followed by Will Levis and Mitch Trubisky. We may also see Hendon Hooker get some reps, as Trubisky is dealing with an injury.

Seattle Seahawks Betting Preview

The Seattle Seahawks are 0-1 this preseason after they lost to the Cowboys by a score of 17-7 last week. Seattle led 7-0 in the first quarter, but they trailed 10-7 at halftime and didn’t score in the second half in the loss. The Seahawks were out gained by a total of 338-156, went 6-12 on third downs, and won the turnover battle by a total of 1-0 in the game. Drew Lock threw for 40 yards and one touchdown, while Jalen Milroe threw for 36 yards. George Holani rushed 12 times for 42 yards, while Montorie Foster Jr caught five passes for 36 yards and one score in the loss.

Last year, Seattle went 1-1-1 in the preseason, which was last in the NFC West. The Seahawks tied the Raiders 23-23, defeated the Chiefs 33-16, and lost to the Packers 20-7 in their three preseason games. Seattle won’t play Sam Darnold in this game, so we will see Drew Lock and Jalen Milroe under center once again.

Titans vs Seahawks Prediction

Seattle comes into this matchup after a very poor effort against Dallas last week and they need Lock and Milroe to be better under center. The Seahawks also allowed 338 yards, so the defense needs to improve as well. Tennessee is coming off of a win over the 49ers, but the second half was very sloppy. I think the Titans definitely have the edge at quarterback, but there’s no way Lock/Milroe don’t improve. Take the over in this matchup.
