The No. 25 Washington Huskies try to stay afloat in the BCS Top 25 with a win in Boulder over the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday.

The No. 25 Washington Huskies go to the 1-9, 1-6 Colorado Buffaloes who are still in search for their first win of the year at Folsom Field.

CU was pulverized 56-31 at 6-4, 3-4 Arizona last week. The Buffaloes led twice during the first quarter on freshman fullback Christian Powell's seven-yard run and sophomore placekicker Will Oliver's 18-yard field goal, but the Wildcats tallied 42 of 49 points after Colorado led 10-7.

Powell reached the end zone again as did freshman running back Donta Abron and junior tight end Scott Fernandez from sophomore quarterback Connor Wood on a long pass play. The latter two Buffaloes scores came early during the fourth period.

Meanwhile 6-4, 4-3 UW was on the right side of a walloping dumping 4-6, 2-5 Utah 34-15. The Huskies trailed 8-0 after one; however, sophomore RB Bishop Sankey's two rushing touchdowns at the end of the third and start of the fourth quarter killed the Utes' chances.

The Huskies scored three straight times earlier on two junior QB Keith Price passing TDs to sophomore wide receivers DiAndre Campbell and Kasen Williams as well as running one in.

With the victory Washington snagged their third consecutive win of the year. The Huskies play the two worst Pacific-12 Conference teams next on the road where UW was abused three times by 31 or more points and wobbled past 3-8, 2-6 California 21-13 to begin November. The Huskies were 1-4 last season during away games just beating the Utes 31-14.

Washington also smothered CU 52-24 in Seattle during mid-October. The Buffaloes are possibly the worst squad in the nation at home falling to an FCS school along with 5-5, 3-4 Arizona State, No. 13 Stanford and No. 17 UCLA celebrating blowout victories.

Colorado is 0-4 at Folsom this year and was 0-4 last season until upending 'Zona 48-29. Stranger things have happened so I won't place a wager on this game, but if I were to I'd take the Buffaloes humiliating the Huskies.

Tyrone’s Pick: Washington -21
