Atlanta Braves Recap

The Atlanta Braves come into this one looking to bounce back after a 4-3 loss to the Dodgers in extra innings in Friday’s series opener. It wasn’t the ideal start the Braves were looking for after their series loss to the Mariners prior to this series. The Braves had their chances as Austin Riley and Ronald Acuna Jr. each went 2 for 5 with a solo home run, but in the end, it wouldn’t be enough as the Dodgers escaped with the win.

Braves Still Loaded Offensively

Entering Friday’s matchup, Marcell Ozuna leads the Braves with 35 hits including 9 home runs and 32 RBIs while Orlando Arcia and Ozzie Albies each have a team-high 9 doubles with Albies logging 29 hits as well this season. Ronald Acuna Jr. has a team-high 38 strikeouts but also leads the Braves with 13 stolen bases as well this season. Austin Riley and Matt Olson each have 8 doubles as well with Riley belting a pair of triples.

Why the Atlanta Braves will win

Los Angeles Dodgers Recap

The Dodgers will be looking to build some more momentum after starting the series on the right foot with their win on Friday thanks to Andy Pages’ walk-off single in the 11th, building on their series win over Arizona to start the week.

Dodgers Just As Good As Braves, If Not Better

Going into Friday, Mookie Betts leads the Dodgers with 49 hits including 10 doubles, 6 home runs and a team-high 25 RBIs along with a .377 batting average and .481 OBP while Shohei Ohtani has 44 hits with 7 home runs, 19 RBIs and a team-high 14 doubles. Why the Los Angeles Dodgers will win

LA Dodgers vs Atlanta Braves Prediction

I’m on the Dodgers here. I know the Braves have a talented lineup, but Tyler Glasnow’s been as legit as it gets this season and frankly isn’t a pitcher I have any real interest in stepping in front of in his current form. The Dodgers have their confidence flowing right now after their win over the Braves on Friday, and I think that carries over to another win for Los Angeles here as the Dodgers get to Elder a lot easier than the Braves get to Glasnow. Give me Los Angeles.
