The St. Louis Cardinals and the Los Angeles Dodgers meet Friday in MLB action from Dodger Stadium. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a St. Louis Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Dodgers prediction.

St. Louis Cardinals Team Preview

The St. Louis Cardinals come into this one looking to bounce back from a 7-1 loss to the Dodgers on opening day. Paul Goldschmidt was the lone Cardinal with any sort of offensive production in the loss, going 3 for 4 with a solo homer, accounting for all of St. Louis’ hits in the losing effort with the rest of the batting order going 0 for 27 with 5 strikeouts. Miles Mikolas took the loss, allowing five runs on seven hits with five strikeouts over 4.1 innings of work. Cardinals vs. Dodgers Prediction

I’m on the Dodgers here. I gave the Cardinals a chance in what I thought was the better spot for them on opening day, but I was left with nothing to show for it and while we will find betting value by going against the Dodgers at some point, I’m not looking for it with St. Louis until the Cardinals show me they’re a different team from last year. I think this is going to be another strong showing from the Dodgers, so give me Los Angeles -1.5 here.
