Twins vs Tigers Prediction

Minnesota was able to snap their losing streak with a win on Saturday afternoon, but they nearly blew a 4-0 lead in the process. The Twins continue to have issues hitting the ball consistently, but luckily for them, the Tigers are almost just as bad. Detroit has one of the beat team ERA’s in the MLB, but their offense is very inconsistent. Detroit is starting Casey Mize, who has allowed seven earned runs and 15 hits over 15.1 innings in three starts. The Twins are going with Louie Varland, who has allowed 13 earned runs and 24 hits over 14.0 innings in three starts. Varland has had plenty of issues early in the season and I just can’t bring myself to taking the Twins and that offense here. Give me the Tigers.
