The Line: Golden State Warriors -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Brooklyn Nets continue their climb toward .500 as they take on the Golden State Warriors tonight.
The Nets have won five of their last seven games and will be looking to improve on their mediocre road record after winning their first game in Utah since 2008. Joe Johnson scored a game-high 27 points and Andray Blatche added 25 as the Nets came back from a 13-point deficit in the third quarter to snap a three-game road skid and improve to 25-27 overall. Brooklyn play their next five on the road, two of which come against tough competition like the Warriors and the Trailblazers so the Nets will need to play better if they want to improve on their 9-16 road record.

Meanwhile, the Warriors have won four of their last six and will be going for a third straight victory after taking down the Rockets in a 102-99 overtime thriller on Thursday. David Lee led the team with 28 points and 14 rebounds but with the game hanging in the balance, the Warriors turned to Stephen Curry who delivered with a clutch layup to force overtime before sinking a couple of clutch free throws to finish with 25 points. Steve Blake made his first appearance as a Warrior and played 18 minutes just hours after joining the team but it will be interesting to see what type of role he will take on in the coming weeks. With the win, Golden State improve to 33-22 overall and 17-10 at home.
The Nets are 5-2 ATS in their last seven road games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven against the Western Conference, while the Warriors are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four home games and 1-7-1 ATS in their last nine games following a win.
Head to head, the Nets are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in Golden State and the Over is 5-0 in the last five overall.
The Warriors and the Nets have been in similar form lately but I have to give the edge to the Warriors coming off a big home victory.
