Ty Lawson and DeMar DeRozan are both questionable to play tonight when the Denver Nuggets take on the Toronto Raptors.
The Nuggets were on a little bit of a roll after beating the Pacers and the Kings in back to back games, but they failed to keep it going and lost to the Bobcats by 101-98 on Wednesday. Randy Foye led the scoring with 33 points and seven assists, while Evan Fournier and Timofey Mozgov added 19 and 15 points respectively, but the Nuggets just couldn't keep up the scoring pace without Ty Lawson (shoulder) and Nate Robinson (knee sprain). With the loss, Denver drops to 22-22 overall and 12-10 at home.

Meanwhile, the Raptors have won four of their last five and are coming off an easy 98-83 win over the Magic thanks to 33 points and 11 assists from Kyle Lowry and 22 points from Amir Johnson. Jonas Valanciunas continued his nice form with 14 points and 15 rebounds for his fourth double-double in his last five outings and he'll need to keep that going if DeMar DeRozan misses his third straight game tonight. Toronto play now embark on a five-game road trip which begins at Denver tonight where they haven't won since Dec. 30, 2003.
In ATS trends, the Raptors are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games following a win of more tha 10 points and 11-3 ATS in their last 14 road games, while the Nuggets are 5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record but just 1-11 ATS in their last 12 Friday games.
Head to head, the Raptors are 3-10 ATS in the last 13 meetings overall and 1-5 ATS in the last six in Denver.
The status of Lawson is still unclear but DeRozan is expected to feature tonight so that's a big boost for the Raptors. With that being said, I like the way Lowry has been carrying the Raptors lately and am quite confident that they can get the minor upset on the road tonight.
