Until their Serie A game last weekend, Milan was the only team in the European top soccer leagues that have won all of their games, but unfortunately, that streak ended when Milan and Roma played 3-3. Milan was leading 3 times in that game, but they were without their starting goalkeeper Donnarumma, and that had a lot of impact on this result. In their last Europa League match against Celtic on the road last week, Milan has had 55% of ball possession, 3 shots on goal, 0 corner kicks, 1 big chance created, and solid 84% of the correct passes. Milan has won this match 1-3. Krunic, Diaz, and Hauge have each scored 1 goal for Milan so far, while Saelemaekers, Hernandez, and Castillejo all added 1 assist each. Gabbia, Donnarumma, and Hauge are all in quarantine, while Rebic has recovered, but he is not yet ready to play in this game. I have to say, I’m loving this Milan team, I love the soccer they are playing, and I love watching Ibrahimovic who is not playing like he is 39 years old. Sparta is one of the best teams in the Czech Republic, and they are at the top of the 1. Liga with 18 points, 20 scored goals, and 6 conceded goals in the first 6 games. Sparta Prague has ended the last season in third place, and this was one of their worst seasons in a while. In the Europa League match last week, Sparta was playing against Lille at home, and they have had 49% of ball possession, 2 shots on goal, 1 corner kicks, 2 big chances created, and 79% of the correct passes. Sparta was terrible in this game, and they ended up losing this match 1-4. Dockal is the only goalscorer for Spart in the Europa League with 1 goal, while Hlozek added 1 assist. There aren’t any well-known players in Spart’s roster, but they are a decent team, but I just don’t see Sparta getting to one of the top two spots in their group. Stetina, Hancko, Celustka, and Plechaty are all injured, and they will miss this game. As I’ve mentioned earlier, I just don’t see Sparta getting to one of the top two spots, and they better focus their efforts on the Czech national league and getting the title back.

Milan and Sparta have played twice against each other, and Milan has won 1 game, while the other one ended in a draw. Also, those games were in 2004, and Sparta was a much better team then. Milan is in fantastic form, and despite missing their starting goalkeeper, I see them getting a nice win here.
