The Buffalo Bulls and the Ohio Bobcats meet in college basketball MAC-tion from the Ohio Convocation Center on Saturday afternoon.

The Buffalo Bulls will be out to build on an 85-73 win over Central Michigan last time out. Jeenathan Williams leads the Bulls in scoring with 17.9 PPG with 7.4 RPG while Jayvon Graves has 14.7 PPG with 3.3 APG and 5.7 RPG. Josh Mballa has 14.7 PPG as well with 10.1 RPG to lead Buffalo on the glass with a double-double per game while Ronaldo Segu has 13.4 PPG to cap off the group of double-digit scorers for Buffalo up to this point in the season. As a team, Buffalo is averaging 82.8 PPG on 46.3% shooting from the field, 32.2% from 3-point range and 67.2% from the foul line while allowing 73.1 PPG on 41.7% shooting from the floor and 29% from 3-point range this season.

The Ohio Bobcats will look to build on their 86-67 beatdown of Eastern Michigan last time out. Jason Preston leads Ohio in scoring and assists with 15.8 PPG with 7.7 APG along with 7.4 RPG while Doug Wilson III has 15.6 PPG with a team-high 7.5 RPG to lead the Bobcats on the glass. Ben Vander Plas has 13 PPG with 5.7 RPG and 3.7 APG and Ben Roderick has 12.1 PPG while Lunden McDay has 10.4 PPG to make up the group of double-digit scorers for Ohio so far this year. Mark Sears has 9.6 PPG and 3.7 APG as well for the Bobcats this year. As a team, Ohio is averaging 80.9 PPG on 49.1% shooting from the field, 36% from 3-point range and 69.5% from the foul line while allowing 73 PPG on 44.5% shooting from the field and 35.1% from 3-point range this season.

Buffalo is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 games as an underdog. Ohio is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a win and 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games as a favorite while the over is 6-1 in their last 7 home games against a team with a winning road record. The underdog is 15-7-2 ATS in the last 24 meetings between these two teams.

This total seems high even for a MAC game, but rest assured it’s that high for a reason and we’re still going to go over it. These two teams love to run and gun and I think that in the end, we’ll have a game that eclipses 170 let alone 160 so I’ll back the over in this spot.
