Everton vs. Watford 10/23/21 Premier League Soccer Pick, Odds, and Predictions

Everton and Watford face off on Saturday in an English Premier League showdown at Goodison Park. When these two teams faced off in 2020, Everton came away with the 3-2 victory. 

Everton currently sits in 8th place in the standings having picked up 14 points total. Everton was playing well to start the season, but they have failed to win each of the last two games. Two games ago they played to a 1-1 draw and against West Ham they lost 1-0. Everton has scored 13 goals total while the defense has given up nine goals. Demarai Gray, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and Andros Townsend have both scored three goals for Everton. Abdoulaye Doucouré has also scored two goals, and if they want to win this game it’s going to be important that the offense steps ups and gets the goal scoring going. 

On the other side of this matchup is Watford who currently sit in 16th place in the standings having picked up seven points. Watford has had some major issues this season and they have lost two games in a row. In the last game against Liverpool, the defense was awful, giving up five goals. They have scored seven goals total while the defense has given up 15 goals total. Ismaila Sarr has been the best player for Watford scoring four goals. Emmanuel Dennis has also scored two goals and one assist. 

I don’t love laying more than -150 in soccer, but Everton is still basically a lock to win this game. Watford’s offense isn’t good, and Everton’s defense is going to lock down in this game. Look for Everton to get that first goal early in this game, and they will cruise to the victory.
