There are a few injuries and players in quarantine because of the covid. It’s hard to imagine Bayern will drop enough points in Bundesliga for anyone to catch up to them, but never say never. Bayern is also one of the favorites to win the Champions League this season, but according to the bookies, they are not the biggest favorite. Everything has been said about this team, and the only thing we can do is to bet on them.

Mainz has lost only 1 of their last 7 games, they are one of the best defensive teams in the league with only 14 conceded goals. Offensively, Mainz is no joke, and they have scored 20 goals in 14 games. In their last Bundesliga game against Wolfsburg at home, Mainz has had 41% of ball possession, 4 shots on goal, 6 corner kicks, 2 big chances created, and only 64% of the correct passes. Even when not playing their best soccer, Mainz was good enough to win this game 3-0. There are a few injuries in Mainz right now, but it’s not a big deal. Bayern is the best team in Germany, and in Europe probably, and after beating Barcelona once again Bayern will be on fire here. Mainz is solid, but I don’t think they stand a chance here.
