Texas Tech vs Oklahoma State 1/13/22 College Basketball Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Oklahoma State Cowboys will travel to United Supermarkets Arena to take on the 19^th ranked Texas Tech Red Raiders this Thursday night in College Basketball action.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys dropped to 8-6 on the season after being defeated by the West Virginia Mountaineers, 70-60, this past Tuesday night. Oklahoma State trailed by a 34-23 margin at halftime and could not fight back after West Virginia took a 64-47 lead with just 5:04 left in regulation. Oklahoma State shot 39.7% from the field & 26.3% from beyond the arc while allowing West Virginia to shoot 37.3% from the field & 26.3% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Cowboys was Bryce Williams who had 12 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, & 1 steal.

On the season, Oklahoma State is averaging 72.2 ppg on 44.1% shooting from the field. The Cowboys are averaging 5.4 three-pointers per game on 29.2% shooting from beyond the arc. Texas Tech shot 50.9% from the field & 28.6% from beyond the arc while holding Baylor to 41.1% shooting from the field & 33.3% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Red Raiders was Adonis Arms who had 14 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, & 2 blocks.

On the season, Texas Tech is averaging 75.0 ppg on 47.9% shooting from the field. The Red Raiders are averaging 6.9 three-pointers per game on 33.2% shooting from beyond the arc. Texas Tech is coming off a huge win and certainly has a defense that is going to give many teams trouble this season, however, Oklahoma State is a solid team on both ends of the court as we saw with their recent 64-51 victory over Texas. I like this Texas Tech team, however, this is a prime spot for a bit of a letdown and although I think the Red Raiders will get the win, I just don’t think they can cover this large spread. Good Luck!
