FC Union Berlin is hosting Hoffenheim at An der alten Forsterei in round 19 of the German Bundesliga. Union is an incredibly tough team, especially at home, and they are a threat to anyone. Hoffenheim is now in excellent form, they are undefeated in their last 7 games, and they are in 3rd place.
Union has lost only 1 of their last 7 games, they have beaten and tied some great teams during this streak, and they are the strongest at home. With 28 points, 25 scored goals, and only 23 conceded goals, Union is a well-rounded team, they are in 7th place. Awoniyi is the leading goalscorer for Union with 9 goals, but unfortunately, he is injured. Missing Awoniyi is a big problem for Union because they don’t have a lot of other offensive options at the moment. Max Kruse has added 3 goals and 4 assists for Union Berlin. The schedule is also pretty rough for Union, but I think they can count on some points in their home games, and I think that will be enough to keep them in the top half of the table.
Hoffenheim has improved a lot on both ends, especially in the attacking end where they started scoring more and more goals, I just hope they don’t stop. Even Hoffenheim’s defense is pretty solid with 27 conceded goals, and they are now in 3rd place with 31 points. Of course, Hoffenheim is far from that second or first place, and so is the rest of the league, but I think Hoffenheim can qualify for the Champions League. Bebou is now the leading goalscorer for Hoffenheim with 7 goals, while Kramaric added 7 assists. There are a few injured players in Hoffenheim, but they are quite used to that by now. Hoffenheim is facing Freiburg in the DFB Pokal next week, and that is the game they can win because Freiburg has been in freefall lately. I was always a fan of Hoffenheim, and ow that they are playing well, I like them even more, I just hope they can keep their foot on the gas, and I hope they can qualify for the Champions League.
Union has lost only 1 home game so far this season, but Hoffenheim is in great form. Union has lost only once at home to Hoffenheim, but I don’t think they will lose here. Hoffenheim might be playing well in the attacking end, and even if they get ahead, Union can get a goal here. I see the draw in this one.
