The Robert Morris Colonials and the Fort Wayne Mastodons meet in college basketball action from the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum on Friday night.

The Robert Morris Colonials will look to build on their 74-64 win over Northern Kentucky last time out. Kahliel Spear leads Robert Morris with 13.2 PPG with a team-high 6.9 RPG to lead the Colonials in scoring and on the glass while Rasheem Dunn has 12.5 PPG and Kam Farris has 11 PPG to make up the trio of double-digit scorers for the Colonials so far this season. The Fort Wayne Mastodons will look to build on their 102-59 win over Michigan-Dearborn last time out. Jarred Godfrey leads the Mastodons in scoring and assists with 16.5 PPG along with 4.1 APG while Jalon Pipkins has 12.9 PPG to cap off the pair of double-digit scorers for IPFW as their top rebounder. Ra Kpedi leads the Mastodons on the glass with 9.3 PPG and a team-high 6.9 RPG while Deonte Billups also has 8.6 PPG for IPFW this season. As a team, IPFW is averaging 73.7 PPG on 44.2% shooting from the field, 34.3% from three and 79% from the foul line while allowing 70.9 PPG on 45.6% shooting from the field and 34.6% from three this season.

I get the case to be made for either side here as Robert Morris is arguably the worst team in the Horizon, but I’m not sure that IPFW is a team I’m comfortable laying this many points with. Instead, I’m going to side with the over here as both teams are capable of scoring into the 70s and I don’t expect a lot of tight defense to be played in this one.
