Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig are clashing at Allianz Arena in round 21 of the German Bundesliga. Bayern is still at the top of the table in Bundesliga, they are the best offensive team in the league, and they are also the best defensive team in the league. Leipzig is also on a nice winning streak, and they have gotten their first win on the road this season.

Offensively, Bayern is outstanding with 65 scored goals, and of course, Lewandowski is their leading goalscorer with 23 goals. Gnabry has added 10 goals. Thomas Muller has added 17 assists. Chupo-Moting and Sarr are in the African Cup of Nations, while Goretzka and Davies are still injured. After losing to Borussia M’gladbach a few weeks ago, again, Bayern has won their next two games by scoring 8 goals in total and conceding only 1. With 49 points, Bayern is at the top of the table, but Borussia Dortmund is not far away from them. In just a couple of weeks, Bayern with face Red Bull Salzburg in the Champions League, and they are certainly good enough to beat them, but it could be tricky. Bayern is certainly the biggest favorite to win Bundesliga, but they are also one of the biggest favorites to win the Champions League as well.

Leipzig has improved their form, by a lot, and that has happened after they made a coaching change. Leipzig is now on a 4-game winning streak, 3 of those were in Bundesliga, and they have scored 8 goals in those 3 games. With 31 points, Leipzig is now in 6^th place, they have scored 38 goals, while they conceded 23 goals so far, which is not bad at all. Nkunku leads Leipzig with 9 goals and 7 assists, while Silva has added 8 goals. Adams and Halstenberg are the only 2 injured players for Leipzig. After getting knocked out of the Champions League, Leipzig will play against Sociedad in a couple of weeks, and their first game is at home. Sociedad is a solid team, and Leipzig will certainly not have an easy time defeating them, but with their form on the rise, Leipzig is the favorite here in my opinion.

This is a great matchup in Bundesliga, and I think it will be a fun and enjoyable game. The trends are heavily on Bayern’s side, and I think they will win here as well, but it’s hard to find a good price on this game. The first half totals is my way to go in Bayern, and I will go with it here as well.
