The CSU Fullerton Titans will travel to the Stan Sheriff Center to take on the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors this Saturday night in College Basketball action.

The CSU Fullerton Titans had their 2-game winning streak snapped and dropped to 14-7 on the season after being defeated by the Long Beach State Beach, 71-61, this past Tuesday. CSU Fullerton led by 33-28 margin at halftime, however, the Titans struggled on both ends of the court in the 2nd half and could not fight back after the Beach took a 65-59 lead with 1:29 left in regulation. CSU Fullerton shot 33.9% from the field & 38.1% from beyond the arc while allowing Long Beach State to shoot 40.6% from the field & 37.5% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Titans was Tray Maddox Jr. who had 15 points, 4 rebounds, & 1 steal in 25 minutes from off the bench.

On the season, CSU Fullerton is averaging 71.2 ppg on 43.9% shooting from the field. The Titans are averaging 5.3 three-pointers per game on 31.4% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, CSU Fullerton has been led by E.J. Anosike (16.5 ppg, 8.1 rpg, 1.5 apg), Damari Milstead (10.9 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 3.0 apg, 1.9 spg), Tray Maddox Jr. (9.8 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 1.9 apg, 1.3 spg), & Vincent Lee (8.9 ppg, 6.9 rpg).

Defensively, CSU Fullerton is allowing their opponents to average 66.5 ppg on 43.2% shooting from the field. The Titans have a rebound margin of 3.1 and a turnover margin of 1.1.

The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors lost their 3rd straight game and dropped to 11-8 on the season after being defeated by the Long Beach State Beach, 73-66, this past Thursday night. Hawaii struggled on the offensive end against Long Beach State and could not fight back after a 7-0 run by Long Beach State gave the Beach a 67-59 lead with :44 seconds left in regulation. Hawaii shot 39.7% from the field & 30.8% from beyond the arc while allowing Long Beach State to shoot 47.2% from the field & 36.4% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Rainbow Warriors was Noel Coleman who had 22 points, 3 rebounds, & 1 assist.

On the season, Hawaii is averaging 71.4 ppg on 45.2% shooting from the field. The Rainbow Warriors are averaging 8.8 three-pointers per game on 36.6% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, Hawaii has been led by Noel Coleman (14.9 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 1.8 apg), Jerome Desrosiers (11.6 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 1.6 apg), Bernardo da Silva (11.1 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 1.2 apg), & Junior Madut (10.4 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 2.2 apg).

Defensively, Hawaii is holding their opponents to an average of 65.9 ppg on 42.2% shooting from the field. The Rainbow Warriors have a rebound margin of 5.1 and a turnover margin of -3.3.

The Titans are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS loss & 11-7-1 ATS overall on the season. The Rainbow Warriors are 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 Saturday games, however, are just 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.

CSU Fullerton has had a solid season to date, however, the Titans have lost 2 of their last 4 games and has struggled on the offensive end as of late, averaging just 62.8 ppg which is about 9 points less than their season average. Hawaii has also struggled as of late, however, the Rainbow Warriors are a solid 7-4 at home to go along with a scoring defense ranked 85th in College Basketball and as I think Hawaii will be able to pull away in the 2nd half in this one, I’m taking the Rainbow Warriors to cover this small home spread. Good luck!
