Bayer Leverkusen vs. Arminia Bielefeld 2/26/22 Bundesliga Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Bayer Leverkusen is hosting Arminia Bielefeld at BayArena in round 24 of the German Bundesliga. Even though Leverkusen has lost in their last game, I don’t think their form diminished a lot, but they will be without Schick in this game. Arminia has had some good results lately, they have lost only 1 of their last 6 games, but they are great defensively.

Thanks to their amazing offense, Leverkusen is a third-best offensive team in the league, they have scored an impressive 60 goals, and 20 of those were scored by Schick who is unfortunately injured. Diaby was also in excellent for Leverkusen with 10 scored goals. Florian Wirtz has added 7 goals and 10 assists. Alongside Schick, Lunaev, Baumgartlinger, and Bellarabi are also injured. The draw of the Europa League has finally happened, and Leverkusen did not get an easy opponent. Leverkusen has drawn Atalanta, but the good news is that the first game is being played in Italy. Back to Bundesliga, Leverkusen is trying to catch up to Borussia Dortmund right now, and they are playing well enough to catch up, but they really need to work on their defense.

As I’ve mentioned, Arminia is in good form, they have lost only 1 of their last 8 games while winning their last Bundesliga game. It was against Union Berlina that Arminia has played against, and they were very good defensively, which was enough for a 1-0 win. With this amazing streak, Arminia has gotten out of the relegation zone, and they are staying there for now. Arminia is not scoring a lot at all, only 22 goals in 23 games, but their defense was absolutely amazing with only 29 conceded goals. Prietl is the only injured player for Armina Bielefeld right now. Okugawa has 8 goals to his name in Bundesliga so far this season. the schedule is not getting any easier for Arminia after this game, but there are no easy games for them anyway. I think Arminia is in good form right now, but they are overperforming in my opinion, and if they are not careful, they will come down crashing. Arminia is good enough to stay in Bundesliga, and I think they will.

The trends are slightly on Leverkusen’s side here, but both teams are in solid form. I know Leverkusen will miss Schick here, but they are finally getting Azmoun back from his injury, and that will be a nice relief. I think Leverkusen gets back on track here.
