The IUPUI Jaguars and the Oakland Golden Grizzles meet in college basketball action from the Athletics Center O’Rena on Tuesday night.

The IUPUI Jaguars will look to snap a three-game losing skid after a 67-41 loss to Green Bay last time out. B.J. Maxwell leads the Jaguars in scoring and rebounding with 12.4 PPG and 5.2 RPG as the lone double-digit scorer for IUPUI this season as well as leading the Jaguars on the glass and Mike DePersia has a team-high 3.3 APG this season. Nathan McClure also has 5.2 RPG as well this season. As a team, IUPUI is averaging 52.3 PPG on 37.6% shooting from the field, 28.2% from three and 66.6% from the foul line while allowing 67 PPG on 44.5% shooting from the field and 35.4% from three this season.

The Oakland Golden Grizzlies will look to add to their 65-57 win over Cleveland State last time out. Jamal Cain leads Oakland in scoring and rebounding, averaging a double-double per game with 20.1 PPG and 10.2 RPG while Jalen Moore has 15.4 PPG and a team-high 7.8 APG to lead the Grizz in the assist department. Trey Townsend has 13.6 PPG and 5.7 RPG up to this point in the season. Micah Parrish also has 11.9 PPG with 6 RPG as well to cap off the group of double-digit scorers for Oakland this season. As a team, Oakland is averaging 74.9 PPG on 43.9% shooting from the field, 30.5% from three and 79.7% from the foul line while allowing 68.7 PPG on 43% shooting from the field and 30% from three this season.

IUPUI is 8-17 ATS in their last 25 games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games following a loss. Oakland is 2-10 ATS in their last 12 games overall and 11-5 ATS in their last 16 home games while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games against a team with a losing record.

I get the case to be made either way believe it or not, as we’ve seen the good and bad, or in this case, really bad, with IUPUI, including a 33-point win for Oakland earlier this season. With that said, the Jaguars have done a good job covering on the road getting big numbers more often than not as of late, and I just don’t want to lay this kind of number with Oakland. Not a game I’m rushing to the window to bet, but if I had to pick, I’d lean towards IUPUI and the truckload of points.
