Fiorentina vs. Juventus 3/2/22 Coppa Italia Soccer Pick, Predictions, and Odds

Fiorentina is hosting Juventus at Stadio Artemio Franchi in the Coppa Italia semifinals. Fiorentina was on a nice winning streak, they were playing well, but they lost to Sassuolo this past weekend. Juventus is undefeated in their last 9 games, and after 3 draws in a row, Juventus has finally gotten a win.

In that game against Sassuolo, Fiorentina was solid, they were attacking, and they even scored a goal after conceding a red card, but in the 94^th minute, Fiorentina has conceded another goal, and they lost this game 2-1. With 42 points, Fiorentina is now in 8^th place in Serie A, while in the Coppa Italia they have a good chance at reaching the finals. Fiorentina has beaten Atalanta in the previous stage of Coppa Italia, but Juventus might prove to be a bit harder team to crack. Fiorentina has only a couple of injuries, and they have been playing really well, and I think playing 2 legs in this matchup will help them, they just need to stay effective. Fiorentina is doing well without Vlahovic, but we will see if they can keep it up.

Juventus on the other hand has a lot of injures, and even though a few players might be ready for this game, I don’t think they will risk it considering they are playing in the Champions League next week. In Serie A, Juventus is in 4^th place, they are scoring a lot more goals than they did at the start of the season, but their defense has been all over the place. Juventus has beaten Empoli this past weekend, but barely, it was 2-3. In the previous stage, Juventus has beaten Sassuolo, and they have scored at least 1 goal in their last 6 games in a row, which is what you get when you sign a striker like Vlahovic. as I’ve mentioned, Juventus is playing in the Champions League next week, and before that, they are playing in Serie A this upcoming weekend, but the good news I suppose is they are playing at home in that Champions League game. There is a lot of improvement in Juventus, especially in the attacking end, but they will have a hard time getting somewhere unless their defense starts playing more consistently. Vlahovic will certainly not have a warm welcome back to Firenza, but that will not diminish his skill to score goals.

Juventus hasn’t lost any of their last 9 games, while they also haven’t lost any of their last 4 games on the road. Fiorentina’s last home win against Juve was back in 2017. I think Fiorentina has a good chance in this game, they have been playing well, but it will be hard. I will stick to goals in this one.
